Invest time in your children!

Good Start at school/work this year. I am only a lunch aide but I spend as much time with some of these kids as their parents do during the week. It's sad to me how little time people have/ make for their kids. It is little wonder that problems in schools are  so bad . Children shouldn't have to raise them selves. So many people blame cost of living. "We both need to work", is one of the major excuses . But you also need several televisions,I-pads I -phone 5,and all kinds of new cars. We live for our things and lose prospective over what's really important. You want a lot of stuff? Don't have children. I know they are cute when they are babies but they are expensive and time consuming. People worry more about pets than children. My dog is part of my family but if there was a fire and I had to make a choice  who to save it would be my child. I was lucky that I did not have to work .I have a husband who has a good job. I am lucky and blessed. Please cancel that golf game and just go to the park and play for once. Kids need some alone time with their parents. If you have them love them and let them know. We only have one chance with them,don't blow it.
