Rufo's Story, The Pit Bull Mix That Nobody Wanted. PLEASE DO NOT BREED OR BUY DOGS!!!!!

This is a story about how a dog was put in a shelter at one year old and was not adopted foe seven years!. He was not a nasty dog he just kept getting overlooked. What I want to say today is Please  before you go out and buy a dog please check out a shelter. Or several shelters (sadly there are lot's to choose from). Check out local rescues too!  This sweet dog did nothing, to get himself thrown away!People can be cruel.
 Dogs are not good gifts or surprises! Do not give them to some one,ever, with out consulting them and even then allow the person to pick it out. It as to be a good fit! No matter how well you know a person ,you do not know how a dog will respond to them . Sometimes it's better for the dog to pick the owner rather than the other way around .
 The shelter must of treated Rufo well, he seems to have a loving disposition. He is the dog in the video above please watch.
There are so many similar dog stories of dogs like Rufo. They live their lives out in cages. I know you wouldn't want that for your dog.
Rescue a dog,you'll be that dogs hero.If you're are like me you'll be asking yourself "who saved who"?
Click on where it says watch this on you tube. It is amazing that this dog is still sane and lovable after all that isolation.I know the shelter workers did as much as the could but with shelters being as over crowded as they are the dogs are lucky to get any attention at all!
So if you are thinking about adding a furry Kid to your family... think adoption.... think Rescue.
There are so many homes needed.IF you can't adopt at this time .. think about helping out a local rescue or shelter.Volunteer, donate if you can (check them out first!! ).
