IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME
Today was an 'if I could turn back time' days.I just had to look at a couple of pictures of my girls when they were about 3 & 4 years old.Or if I knew then...what I don't know now. Yeah it is supposed to be what I know ..but who am I kidding!Some days I know nothing.
Some people talk about super powers - i.e.what would yours be?
The top two favorites-invisibility and flying.
Mine used to be the fantasy of flight.Now however, I realise that flying would not work for me.I have a semi-fear of heights. (Unless I flew low).I also have grown to hate rushing around which is endless for me.
My super power would be turning back time,not by years but by moments sometimes.Just to hold onto time for an extra minute sometimes. WHY TURN BACK TIME?.... To not have said the one thing I can not apologise for.
To apologise times when I could of.
Like when I came so close to it but really never said 'I am sorry".
To hold my daughters hug a little longer. To have Them both shorter than me again just for a second. To say goodbye to my mom & Dad & brother....To hear an old friend play her guitar once more.To tell my husband I love him before he left for work.To see him the first time he said he loved me.
To see the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Oh, OK that was long ago.So sing it Cher-IF I could turn back time......What moment would you go back to?
